About Me

To a certain  extent, my great love for nature was placed in my cradle. I was born in a nature reserve in the north of Germany, on the Geltinger Birk, and spent the first wonderful years of my childhood in that paradise.

In my search for untouched nature, numerous safaris took me to many countries in Southern Africa. In the 1990s we bought our first game farm in Namibia and a few years later we left Germany for a live full of challenges and adventures in the wild.

We have worked and lived in different parts of the country, from Etosha National Park to Lüderitz in the Diamond Sperrgebiet. We always were and still are engaged in tourism and nature conservation.

Today, my husband Günter and I live in the very north of Namibia, in the beautiful Zambezi Region (also known as Caprivi-Strip) on a farm right on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. Our four children are grown up and now live their happy life on different continents.

Conservation

I have always been very comitted to nature conservation. Together with my husband Günter, we have set up and financed a project for the protection of cheetahs and a lion conservation project in Namibia.

German Shephards

My other passion besides photography are our German Shepherd Dogs. I spend a lot of time breeding and training them, and often they accompany me on my safaris.
